About diabetes
Diabetes is a complex chronic disease, which can be divided into type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and other types of diabetes. The indicators for judging whether it is diabetes are as follows:

•Fasting blood glucose ≧ 126mg/dL
•Two hours after a meal, blood glucose level≧200mg/dL
Type 1 diabetes
is characterized by the failure of the patient’s body to produce enough insulin due to the destruction of β cells, and the inability to correctly send sugar into the cells needed to convert it into energy. When the body’s energy is insufficient, it will cause cardiovascular disease, retinopathy, and other complication.
Type 2 diabetes
is characterized by the patient's body losing sensitivity to insulin, having insulin resistance. blood glucose cannot enter the cells, forcing the pancreas to secrete a large amount of insulin to assist the normal operation. As time progresses, they begin to lose the ability to take in glucose, and it becomes diabetes.
